    Payments & Refund Policy

    At Fresh Day Meds, we strive to provide transparent and accessible telehealth care. Please read this policy carefully to understand how payments are processed, how refunds are handled, and why prescription medications cannot be returned.

    1. Payment Authorization & Processing

    When you place an order on Fresh Day Meds, a temporary authorization hold is placed on your credit or debit card for the full amount of the treatment plan. This is not a final charge; it is a reservation of funds to ensure payment can be captured if your prescription is approved.

    Medical Evaluation

    Every order includes a complimentary medical evaluation by a licensed provider who reviews your medical intake, verifies your identity, and determines your eligibility for treatment. If you are not approved, you will not be charged.

    2. Approval & Denial Scenarios

    Your final charge depends on the outcome of the medical review:

    If Your Prescription is Approved:

    We will capture the full authorized amount for your treatment plan. Your order will be processed immediately and sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment. Once this capture occurs, the transaction is final and non-refundable.

    If Your Prescription is Declined:

    If the provider determines you are not a candidate for treatment, we will release the entire authorization hold. You will not be charged anything, and the hold will disappear from your bank statement (typically within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank).

    3. No Returns on Prescription Medications

    Due to federal and state pharmacy regulations, we cannot accept returns of prescription medications for any reason. This applies even if the package is unopened.

    • Safety: Once a medication has left the pharmacy, the chain of custody is broken, and it cannot be resold or reused.
    • Disposal: If you have unwanted medication, please dispose of it responsibly at a local drug take-back location. Do not mail it back to us.

    4. Order Cancellations

    Before Entering the Physician's Waiting Room:

    If you wish to cancel or modify your order before it enters our physician's waiting room, please submit a support ticket as soon as possible. Our support team will do their best to accommodate your request; however, cancellation or modification is not guaranteed.

    After Entering the Physician's Waiting Room:

    Once your order enters our physician's waiting room for medical review, it can no longer be cancelled or modified. This includes all subsequent stages of the fulfillment process — medical review, pharmacy preparation, and shipping. The transaction is non-refundable once the order has entered the waiting room and the prescription is approved.

    5. Company-Initiated Cancellations

    Fresh Day Meds reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel any order at any stage of fulfillment and to issue a full or partial refund to the original payment method. Company-initiated refunds do not require customer consent or confirmation.

    A discretionary refund does not modify the no-returns policy for prescription medications, nor does it establish a precedent for future refunds. For full details, please review our Terms and Conditions.

    6. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

    While we cannot accept returns, we will ensure you receive the correct treatment. If your order arrives damaged, broken, or contains the wrong medication, please contact our support team within 3 days of delivery.

    • Resolution: We will work with the pharmacy to ship a replacement at no additional cost to you.
    • Evidence: Please take photos of the damaged packaging/product, as we may need them for our internal records with the carrier.
